Marcus Chen grew up in San Francisco's Richmond District, surrounded by some of the best Chinese, Japanese, and Korean restaurants in the country. After culinary school at the CIA in Hyde Park, he spent two years eating his way through Tokyo, Bangkok, and Hong Kong.
